Resident said: The AC is not cooling to the temperature we have it set at. We have it set at 77, the thermostat currently says 79, and it is not shutting off. We have checked the line on the AC unit and it is not frozen or even wet. The air filter has been replaced. There are no pics to be taken. Additional Details: The thermostat is set to 77 degrees. It is 79 in the house. Thermometer that was in the actual air vent only reads air blowing out at 75 degrees. The issue began this afternoon. Probable Diagnosis: AC is blowing cold air but Home is Too Hot MAX™ Also Learned: - Has central air conditioning Troubleshooting Steps: - Entire home too hot - Thermostat was already set correctly - Vents were already open and clear Permission to Enter: Yes Entry Notes: We have dogs.

Well considering we have to have window units upstairs and in the living room I would say No it never has. Usually the line freezes up this is the first time its not even cold. Ever company that has been out to fix the issue, every year, has stated the unit is not the right size for this house. Also it doesn't help that the owner is refusing to fix broken windows (1 boarded up and 4 with cracks).
