When we arrived and began to troubleshoot the water heater we found that the pilot would not stay on but would spark after a few times. We checked and made sure that there was gas to the residence. We turned off the gas valve and replaced the igniter and the thrmermal coupling. We recommend that the full assembly to burner, flame sensor assembly be replaced. Water heater was manufactured in 2017.
