Completion notes
We removed a 2x2 section of dirt where leak was coming from. We uncovered where leak of the source was and discovered that the fitting had broken. We removed approximately about a foot and a half of polybutylene pipe and replaced with pex and a new fitting. We tested line for leaks at the repair and monitor the meter fir about 15 mins and did not see any signs of usage. We wrapped fitting with protective tape and then covered opening back up.
