Dear Lacy, I am writing regarding the recent assessment of the stove at 2934 Purington Avenue, Unit 1. I would like to request that my home be inspected for roaches first, as I have not seen any since moving in. If roaches caused the stove problem, they would have had to be present prior to my tenancy, as I have not been here long enough for such an issue to develop. Furthermore, roaches do not typically chew wires; the stove appears to simply have a short on the circuit board. I would not have moved in if I had seen roaches at the start of my lease. Please reconsider the current findings. I am willing to purchase my own stove, and my son, who is an electrician by trade, can handle the installation or repair.
