we found that one of the sequencer wires was burned out, and the sequencer itself was bad. We replaced the sequencer and added a new wire. We believe the cause of the burned wire is that the unit’s label specifies a maximum of 35 amps, but the breaker box has a 40-amp breaker—5 amps over. That could be one reason the wire overheated and burned.

I am currently in contact with the vendor who visited the property. Could you please assist by checking the thermostat? When you press the menu button, a "PROG" option should appear. If you select it, could you let me know whether the setting is indicated as "off" or "on"? Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
